This means I have worked at the Sandhills Cattle Association for almost a whole year, and what a blast it has been! I love my job here as Outreach Coordinator, and I can’t wait to grow more in this position and provide more benefits for you, fellow Sandhillers!Our next few upcoming events include our EP&C Contest Banquet on August 19th, 2022, at 6 pm at the Cast Iron Bar & Grille in Stuart, NE. At this banquet, we will go into depth about the contest, and the winners of each category will receive their championship buckles! Everyone is welcome to attend this banquet, so please let us know if you would like to come! RSVP is required for this event as we are going to have an amazing prime rib dinner! Next up in September, we will hold our 3rd annual fall feeder calf preview! Along with the Cow/Calf Council of the NR Cattlemen’s and the Sandhill’s Affiliate of the NE Cattlemen’s, we will take you along to tour the best ranches in the sandhills. This year our location will be around Merriman, NE, and it will be a one-day event on September 22nd!
