ONE MORE YEAR – An original poem by Emiliano Martín -

from Poesía con voz -Emiliano Martín- Podcasts

"One More Year” is an original poem by Emiliano Martín, written in 1987 and first published on page 5, volume 24, #52 of "The Advisor," (Bensalem, PA). That was in December of the same year. And yet, the poem has been republished due to its popularity in public poetry readings offered by the poet himself, especially during the December Holidays. The poem is a description of feelings when facing the end of the year, and it exhibits how we humans see it when gazing at things we did or did not do throughout the year. The poet, Emiliano Martín, displays his verses with poetic honesty, all for the listeners of “Poesia con Voz..” The words are enhanced by feelings and good wishes for the New Year.
