Onward To Manhood...

from Let's Coach with Carolyn - Career Strategist, Leadership and Life Coach · host Carolyn R Owens

Send us Fan Mail  There are so many factors influencing our children to grow up faster and experience things in life much sooner then we may have had to. In many cases they are getting direction from the media, friends and video games that may not be providing the guidance needed to truly grow into productive members of society and to live amazing, fulfilling lives. Men once had a certain to role to play in society, one that some believe is slowly fading away as they fall victim to the challenges life places in front of them. Every boy should become a man. Age does not make one a man. How he chooses to live his life and the decisions he makes – that becomes the measure of a man. The path to manhood is one that should be carefully navigated but many stumble along the way. Our guest this week, Eric Elliott, has a mission to assist "Boys" with Godly guidance on their journey to manhood and to help those that may have fallen off the path to know there is hope – Do Not Give Up!  Eric is an author, speaker, husband and father who, on several occasions in his own life could have easily thrown in the towel and choose a life that would have taken him on a much different path. Instead he stayed strong in his faith using his pain and experiences for victory. His book, “Onward to Manhood: Establishing Godly Masculinity” serves as a blueprint that lays the foundation for the journey to manhood. In his words “in the soul of every man, there is a tug-of-war between insanity and divinity. The winner is...the one you feed the most. “Tune in to Let's Coach as Eric shares how to negotiate and navigate the journey of manhood and how every boy can achieve success and win his very own tug-of-war.
