Leen van Steensel is 41 jaar en woont met zijn vrouw en 3 dochters in Park triangel. Hij werd geboren in Rotterdam, groeide op in Moordrecht en later in Waddinxveen, waar hij voetbalde bij Be Fair. Leen is vandaag de dag voetbaltrainer en voormalig profvoetballer. Als prof kwam hij onder andere uit voor FC Utrecht, Carl Zeiss Jena in Duitsland en Excelsior Rotterdam. Na zijn actieve carrière stortte hij zich op het trainersvak. Hij was onder meer hoofdtrainer van clubs als CVV de Jodan Boys en BVV Barendrecht — en vanaf seizoen 2025/2026 is hij aangesteld als hoofdtrainer van FC Lisse. Sinds een aantal jaar woont Leen in de wijk Park Triangel, waar hij actief bijdraagt aan de vorming van de wijk, door voetbalclinics te geven op het Parkeiland.
