Open to Change

Morning Mantra: "The bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you fail to make the turn."

I have always loved this quote by Helen Keller about change. To me it perfectly illustrates the need not to resist it.

I have always looked at change as an exciting adventure because I get to see what is around the bend. What will I learn? How will I change in response?

I understand how people can view change with fear or anxiety. The NOT knowing what's around the bend.  The resistance to letting go of what's comfortable and known.

Even positive change is stressful.  Understand this and allow yourself to use that energy to focus on what's becoming, rather than holding on to what is gone.
