Oregon Weather: 02-21-2026

from The Oregon Weather Podcast

Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly, and welcome to the Oregon Weather Podcast. It's Saturday, February 17th. Folks, here's the deal. Oregon is running two completely different weekends right now. The valley is soaking wet. Central Oregon is flirting with snow. Classic. Let's start in the Willamette Valley. You're waking up to 37 degrees with light east winds. Rain is likely today. Seven in ten chances, so grab that umbrella before you even think about brunch. Tonight stays damp with lows in the mid 30s. Tomorrow nudges up near 40, but showers aren't going anywhere. Head south toward Eugene and the story gets even wetter. Also 37 degrees, southeast winds around 6 miles an hour. Rain chances climb to eight in ten. If you've got outdoor plans, have a backup. Tonight holds near 35. Tomorrow pushes 41, still showery. Now drive east over the Cascades into Central Oregon. Whole different planet. Just 27 degrees with south winds at 7 miles an hour. There's about a coin flip chance of snow, and flurries could dust the higher elevations. Tonight drops into the low 20s. That's the kind of cold that reminds your windshield who's boss. Tomorrow warms slightly to 30 with lingering flurries possible. Here's your heads up for the week ahead. Rain keeps hammering the valleys through Monday, then eases Tuesday. Central Oregon stays chilly with scattered snow showers. By midweek, a ridge builds in. Drier skies, temperatures climbing back toward normal. You'll want to enjoy that break while it lasts. Quick note on daylight. Sunrise at 6:32 this morning, sunset at 5:20. We're gaining nearly three minutes a day. Air quality sits at moderate, so sensitive groups might want to take it easy outside. One more thing. If this forecast helped you plan your Saturday, share it with a friend. Word of mouth keeps us going. Stay dry out there. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
