Origins of Life

Fossils as old as 4.1 billion years in Western Australia contained microlife. In 2023, samples from an asteroid returned to Earth were found to have partial RNA molecules. We're searching for life in outer space, but in truth, we're attempting to escape the inevitability of our dying planet. Biologists estimate 99% of all species that once lived on Earth are extinct. Astronauts returning from living in outer space for long periods of time have had their DNA altered. There may not be any escape.
