Gabby shares how the majority of their rescues are rabbits that have been dumped by their owners. She also talks about how domesticated rabbits cannot survive in the wild because they don’t know how to burrow or hide from prey or the elements, and also don’t know what native plants to eat. ORCA is the only rabbit rescue in the area, due to the fact that rabbits cannot be taken to Orange County Animal Services or to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
