Our Fight For Joy

As we continue on our study through Philippians in search of the surpassing joy in Jesus Christ, it is vitally important we proceed with honesty.There are some days when it is difficult to experience joy in Christ. Why is that? Well, Paul provides this explanation for us in 2 Cor. 4:4, "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." The reality is, we have a real enemy who is working aggressively to keep all people from seeing the glory in the gospel. If he can distract our minds from seeing the glory of Jesus, then it is easy for him to numb our hearts as well. In this message, we are going to learn how to fight for our joy... together.
