Our Guilt and the Richness of God’s Grace

from Relentless Truth with John Warren · host John Warren

Subscribe ▼ Show Notes In this week’s episode we discuss the fact that we, in our flesh, are dead in our sins. No one seeks after God. There is no one who is righteous. The Apostle Paul teaches these truths in Ephesians 2, and he also discusses this truth in Romans 1 through 3. Dead in our Sins Paul goes on to contrast our deadness in sin with God’s amazing mercy and grace. Note the beauty of Paul’s use of “in Him” and “with Him” in this letter. Paul makes it clear that this is not of our own doing but is a free gift. Jesus our Reconciliation We have no room to boast. God knew us in eternity past. He gave Himself for us. We can rest in and rely upon Him. We enjoy oneness in Jesus Christ our Lord. We were far off, and we have been brought near through Jesus Christ. He is our peace, our reconciliation, with God. We are reconciled because of His blood that was shed for us. Thank you for listening to Relentless Truth. Please share this episode with your friends and family.
