Our Heavenly Father is Ruler of All

Today, Saturday October 24 - The final words in the pattern of prayer the Lord taught the disciples to pray are: "For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."  As we conclude our prayer of worship and petitions for daily provision, for daily forgiveness, for daily protection, we remind ourselves that our Father in heaven is a Sovereign God who has all authority and every thing is for His glory.  As we face our daily task and challenges we can be assured that our morning prayer will be answered!  David in the Psalms prayed this pattern of prayer over and over.  Psalm 143 is a great example of this.  Whenever I read this Psalm and I always think, "This is my favorite!"  I trust you will take time to read it today and be encouraged to trust and believe in our Great God and Heavenly Father who loves us and will always help us in our time of need!  God bless!
