Almost half of all bird species are in decline globally with the figure even higher at 63% for Irish birds That’s according to the latest State of the World’s Birds report which says that one in eight birds globally are threatened with extinction. Oonagh Duggan, Head of Advocacy, BirdWatch Ireland spoke to Shane this morning.
