Jason Stoughton, senior director of sales for Affinity Waste Solutions, shares his inspiring story of overcoming adversity and finding purpose in life. From being a two-time state wrestling champion to a professional archer, Jason has achieved success in various areas. However, his journey was not without challenges, including a fractured home, abuse, and feelings of worthlessness. But through a powerful sermon on the radio, Jason found hope and began to invest in personal growth. This led him to become a student of John Maxwell. Jason Stoughton shares his journey of personal growth and transformation, highlighting the importance of courage, serving others, and embracing adversity. Jason was blessed to fulfill one of this dreams of playing football since his opportunity was taken from him in High School due to his pituitary disease. At age 35, he walked-onto a semi-pro football field to tryout and not only made the team, but was voted team captain. He emphasizes the need to constantly grow and be aware of oneself, as well as the power of focusing on others and creating meaningful connections. Jason also discusses his relationship with his father and the process of forgiveness and reconciliation.
