Overflowing Joy

from First15 Devotional · host First15

Today we’ll be celebrating Christmas, Christ come for you and me, by allowing the reality of his coming to fill our hearts with overflowing joy. Whatever is happening in your life today, there is joy to be found in the reality that Christ came for you, wants to make his presence known in your life, and that he will come again. May your heart be filled with joy this Christmas.   Our Scripture for today comes from 1 Peter 1:8, and today's worship is Joy To The World by Maverick City & Naomi Raine. -- Thanks for listening to today’s First15 Podcast. My name is Ryn, and I’m a part of the First15 Team. If you haven’t downloaded our brand new First15 app, make sure to click this link  to check it out! One of the new features that you can enjoy when you download the app is our Guided Prayers. We are adding new prayers every month,  so if you need a moment of peace with God, let these prayers be your guide!  In today’s First15 Podcast we wanted to give you a preview of a new Guided Prayer that I wrote titled, “The Process of Glory.”  Have you ever heard the phrase “The struggle is real.”? Sometimes this phrase feels all too true in my life.. But as I study the lives of Jesus and His disciples and even people of the Old Testament, the overarching theme that I continue to see isn’t just that the struggle is “real,” but that when we commit our struggle to God in prayer, it isn’t just real, it’s good. I hope this Guided Prayer invites you to view your own struggles through a new lens and to declare over whatever you are walking through that, “The struggle is good.”

Marathi Aarti Sangrah | मराठी आरती संग्रह Rajshri Entertainment Private Limited Aarti (आरती) is a devotional song sung to show devotion towards a deity and to Glorify a deity. Aarti is sung during Ritual of Aarti, in which flame is offered to deity. Aarti is a Hindi word and it is also spelled Arti, Arati or Arathi. The word Aarti is derived from the Sanskrit word Aratrika (आरात्रिक), which means something that removes darkness. MRE Podcast MRE Podcast This is a daily devotional podcast for those who want more of God's Word each day. I read the Word and share my insights from the Word. You might ask why do I do this? In the wilderness, the Israelites had to depend on daily mana from heaven to live. They couldn't eat yesterday's nor keep them for the next day. They always lived on the fresh mana each day. We also need to live by the fresh word of God each day. However, often we skip a meal and live on the past encounters with God. Someone of us gets too busy to eat or someone us do not know how or where to start. We need fresh encounters each day with the Lord so that the love of Christ will overflow to others. That's what I am doing, doing my quiet time and feasting and sharing the food with people.
