Andreas Michalsen Prof. Michalsen ist Facharzt für Innere Medizin und seit 2009 Chefarzt der Abteilung Naturheilkunde im Immanuel Krankenhaus Berlin und Inhaber der Stiftungsprofessur für klinische Naturheilkunde am Institut für Sozialmedizin, Epidemiologie und Gesundheitsökonomie der Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Durch seine langjährige klinische Erfahrung in den Bereichen Innere Medizin und Naturheilkunde und seine umfangreiche wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit ist Prof. Michalsen ein Vorreiter der evidenzbasierten integrativen Medizin. Als Herausgeber medizinischer Fachliteratur und Autor der zwei Bestseller, „Heilen mit der Kraft der Natur“ und „Mit Ernährung heilen“ fördert er den wissenschaftlichen Diskurs bezüglich Themen wie Ernährung und Lebensstil und bietet außerdem praxisrelevante Anleitungen sowohl für das alltägliche als auch das medizinische Handeln. Die Physicians Association for Nutrition (PAN) wurde 2018 als gemeinnütziger Verein gegründet, und hat seinen Sitz in München. PAN e.V. ist eine international agierende, ärztliche Organisation, welche es sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, das Bewusstsein für das Potential einer vollwertigen, pflanzenbasierten Ernährung in der Gesundheitsförderung sowie der Krankheitsvorbeugung (Prävention) und -behandlung (Therapie) zu stärken. PAN richtet sich hierbei an Angehörige der Gesundheitsberufe (insbesondere Studierende der Humanmedizin), die Allgemeinbevölkerung und politische Schlüsselpersonen. PAN expandiert und eröffnet ständig neue nationale PAN-Niederlassungen auf der ganzen Welt, um unter lokalen Bedingungen effizient und wirksam arbeiten zu können.
