The spies scouting the land for 40 days and reported back that the land is indeed flowing with milk and honey, but also warned, that its cities are well fortified, and the citizens are giants who powerful and mighty, and therefore, it will be impossible to conquer. Hashem punished the Jewish people for their lack of faith and exiled them to 40 years of wandering in the desert. We find out why the spies account of the land of Israel was incorrect. We learn the mindset needed to live a productive and meaningful life.
