Welcome to part two of a three-part episode entitled, Early Recognition and Intervention in Cancer Cachexia. Cancer cachexia is a progressive muscle-wasting syndrome that significantly diminishes the quality of life for many patients with cancer. For part two, we are joined by Professor Jeffrey Crawford and Dr Rony Dev to discuss the challenges in early detection, management and illustrated case presentations of cancer cachexia.  This discussion was originally broadcast as an ACCME-accredited webinar entitled, Early Recognition and Intervention in Cancer Cachexia: Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, and Management, delivered by Professor Aminah Jatoi, Professor Jeffrey Crawford and Dr Rony Dev. It was published as part of the American Cancer Society - Cancer Cachexia Knowledge Hub educational program.
