Parte il 14 ottobre il prelievo selettivo dei cervi

A partire dal prossimo 14 di ottobre e fino al 15 di marzo 2025 avranno luogo i prelievi del cervo esclusivamente nei due Comprensori regionali ricompresi nei territori degli Ambiti Territoriali di Caccia di Avezzano, Sulmona, Subequano, L’Aquila e Barisciano ed al di fuori delle aree protette e delle aree ad esse contigue. La Giunta regionale ha, infatti, approvato il “Calendario venatorio regionale stagione 2024-2025 per l'esercizio del prelievo in forma selettiva del cervo e del relativo piano di abbattimento distinto per sesso e classi di età”. L’obiettivo è la gestione della fauna presente nell’ecosistema entro livelli di equilibrio compatibili con le altre componenti biologiche ed antropiche. Riequilibrando la popolazione dei cervidi, si produce una maggiore capacità di contrasto ai danni alle colture e al rischio dell’incolumità personale dovuta agli incidenti stradali.
