Today, Thursday July 23 - Jehovah, Jesus said, "I AM the True Vine, Abide in Me and you will bear fruit." What does it mean to abide in Christ? Of course it begins with a personal relationship with Jesus that is called, being "born again." (John 3:1-7) As you repent of your sins and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior by faith, He comes to live in your life in the person of the Holy Spirit. "Christ in you the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:27) To abide in Christ means that you abide in His Word, which is the Bible. You listen to the Word! You read the Word! You study the Word! Your memorize the Word! You meditate day and night on the Word." And then you, most importantly, obey the Word! As you do, you are yielding the control of your life to the Holy Spirit and He leads you in all truth and always glorifies Jesus in your life! (John 16:12-15) AMEN! God bless!
