Patient Planting

Have you ever planted potatoes and harvested onions? Or sowed strawberries but reaped peaches? That'd be really weird! Because it's a solid foundational truth of our world: what you sow, you will reap. This applies in our inner lives just as much as in our gardens! In this teaching we look at God's perspective on our spiritual growth in this vein, and see how patient planting will certainly reap us a harvest of deep goodness if we don't give up. Many of us are tired and disheartened after a long pandemic season. We need to hear afresh God's word to us, encouraging us to plant with patience now for the harvest we want in our lives. And the good news is, it's never too late! It's always planting season in the Kingdom of God!
