Two bushfires in Perth's Kenwick and Bullsbrook areas have been downgraded to watch and act status after forcing resident evacuations overnight. The fires threatened homes and lives, temporarily closing Perth Airport's main runway and halting freight rail services. Crews have contained the Bullsbrook blaze, though changing wind conditions could still cause erratic fire behaviour.
