"PikaScience" - Where did all the Pokemon go?

from Pokescience · host PikaScience

The gang's all here to talk about urbanization, deforestation, habitat loss, habitat fragmentation, economic incentives, and how this all is connected together for your local ecosystems. We're going to look at examples of Pokemon losing their homes, and how conservation has worked in the Pokemon world, and what you can do in ours. We will talk about policy and economic solutions to this massive problem and hopefully leave you with the tools you need to save the "Pokemon" in your own backyard. This is going to be our last official episode for the season and we are taking the summer off, minus a few bonus episodes and online events. We'll be recording interviews during that time and returning at the start of the school year with all new content. Stay tuned on social media and discord. You can send in your recordings of our opening sting, "This show is part of the PikaScience podcast. Studying the intersection of gaming and science." and email it to us and it could show up on a future episode: [email protected] Come join us on discord: https://discord.gg/7AJKk7G4q9 This podcast is not licensed or endorsed by Nintendo, Pokémon, Creatures Inc., or GAME FREAK
