On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks Band-Maid live at Aftershock, in Sacramento, California. She explains that in Japan she used to work in a Maid Café serving drinks to male customers in a maid costume, but also loving heavy metal music, she decided to combine them both and create music inspired by both things. Speaking about their new EP, it is only and instrumental album which is something they have never done before, so it was challenging for them but they enjoyed it and believe their fans will enjoy it too. She says her fans would love the instrumentals so they decided to give the fans a project like that. Pipeman asks about the costumes which are related to their personalities, one being a traditional native Japanese costume, another with a longer skirt and designed for somewhere more quiet, the drummer’s is more mobile so she can move and now shows her belly because she loves food, and finally the other lead singer is black an white to be the opposite to the other lead singer.
