Despite still being in its infancy, the company which started in Dec 2019 has already brought in its first customers last year and has raised AUD$2.2 million in seed capital from Blackbird Ventures with participation from renowned angel investors such as Ellen Pao, the previous CEO of Reddit and Jon Williams, co-founder of Culture Amp. The company is now slated to launch its beta version and has gone from an all-Kiwi user base to a global one. So, today we are gonna talk to Lauren about why she decided to start a business in New Zealand instead of her home country of the USA.
