POSTCAST: Carson Benge WALKS OFF The Tigers, But Mets LOSE Juan Soto To Injury

from Locked On Mets - Daily Podcast On The New York Mets · host Locked On Podcast Network, Ryan Finkelstein

Carson Benge delivered his first career walk-off, as the New York Mets came back for the second straight night to defeat the Detroit Tigers, 3-2.  Benge, unfortunately, was the cause of both of the Tigers runs after he couldn't get to a ball in the first inning. But he was able to make up for it with three hits, include the walk-off in the 10th. It wasn't all good news, however, as the Mets suffered another injury with Juan Soto leaving the game after fouling a ball off his ankle.  POSTCAST host Chris Schubert breaks down the walk-off win and the Soto injury.  Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official.
