The Electricity Authority says most households have seen an average increase of about 8 percent to their power bills this winter, on top of last year's 8 percent. Network charges have accounted for between 40 to 45 percent of that increase. The Electricity Retailers' and Generators' Association chief executive Bridget Abernethy spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
