This Power “spin-off” feels a lot like the original show, but brings in several new characters including attorney Davis Maclean (Method Man) and a wife of a former drug kingpin, Monet (Mary J. Blige). Tariq St. Patrick’s life is flipped upside down after the murder of his father. We follow Tariq as he tries to cope with his new life and juggle his two worlds - being a college student and the child of political hopeful and the biggest gatdamn drug dealer in New York, James “Ghost” St. Patrick. After a brief moment of hope, Tasha is still in jail awaiting her trial and protecting Tariq. We can’t wait to see how the new character stories develop and progress.
