Power supply to Eskom Head Office cut off "mysteriously" says the utility
from AM Live on SAfm · host SABC News and Current Affairs
SAfm — Disgruntled workers belonging to the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and the National Union of Metalworkers (Numsa) are today picketing at Eskom's Sunninghill head offices in Johannesburg. Wage negotiations between the financially distressed power utility and labour unions deadlocked resulting in the rolling out of mass action by the NUM and Numsa. Eskom's spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe tweeted this morning that the power supply to Eskom's head office in Suninghill had "mysteriously" been cut off. Our economics reporter Naledi Ngcobo is following the story.
