Psalm 23 - My Shepherd Keeps Me

from Pastor Mike Impact Ministries · host Michael L Grooms

My Shepherd Keep Me Psalm 23 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. Sorry I’m posting today’s Pastor Chat so late. The video for today will explain why in a little more detail. So this Chat will be a bit brief. This past week I had a medical issue that became apparent over the weekend and that it needed to be attended to. So, yesterday afternoon (Monday), I drove to Roanoke and went directly to the emergency room at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. All my medical records and doctors are connected to this hospital and I felt more comfortable with them handling my needs. They were extremely busy last night in the ER, but finally were able to see me and took fantastic care of me. They actually sedated me twice as they tackled the issue. Finally they were able to relieve the pain and take care of it. I want to give a big thank you to all the doctors, surgeons, nurses and everyone who worked together to meet my need. I’m definitely on the mend and will probably stay here in Roanoke a few more days to do some follow-up with my primary physician. I want to say a special thank you to my son and his wife, Jonathan and Heidi, who came to pick me up at the hospital around 4am this morning as I was not able to drive. Also a big thank you to another son and his wife, Stephen and Crystal, who so graciously give me such a nice to stay while I’m here! And thank you for your patience and prayers with the Chat this morning. Please listen to the video as I share how Psalm 23 and my Great Shepherd was there for me yesterday and always will be! Honestly it was a miracle how everything came together yesterday and this morning to address my medical issue!!!! And thanks for your continued prayers as I recover! God bless!
