Public meeting on housing crisis taking place in Sligo this weekend

A public meeting over the housing crisis is taking place in Sligo this weekend. It's being organised by the Raise the Roof campaign Sligo and is getting underway in the Glasshouse Hotel, Sligo tomorrow night at 8.00.p.m.The Raise the Roof campaign is a trade unions sponsored campaign which has the support of numerous political parties, students' unions and community groups who are demanding action on the housing crisis.Speakers will include Cllr Gino O'Boyle who says there are many avenues which could be explored in Sligo town that could go a long wat towards alleviating the crisis at a local level:
