What this episode covers

If I were to ask you to name the most famous earthly ancestor of Jesus, what would be the name of that person? Would it be Abraham, the great man of faith, or maybe Jacob, or perhaps you might name Moses, the person to whom God gave the Ten Commandments? Would it be someone from the New Testament? Well, actually it would be none of these. Jesus was not called "the son of Abraham" or "the son of Jacob" or any other great person. But he was given the title, "the son of David." And that's the man whose life we will focus on this morning. Was everything good about David? Or did he have another side to his life? Well, stay with us for a few minutes, and we will find some lessons that we need to apply to our lives from the pages of scripture.
