Punching Tags

On this episode of Michigan Wild, Nate puts a wrap on 2024 with Punching Tags! Nate found some recent late season success with his bow and broke down his late season strategy. Being successful in the late season involves strategic planning and observation. Searching for the correct properties, utilizing food plots, and having effective access has increased the quality of Nate's hunts the last few years. This approach has morphed into finding those areas that produce opportunities throughout the fall, not just a specific time frame. Going into 2024 Nate felt like he had to do a better job at harvesting some does. Typically every fall Nate gets at least 1 or 2 does, but felt like the deer population had increased dramatically and saw the negative impact first hand. So this fall he decided to put a higher emphasis on targeting them.  It was a process and had its shares of ups and downs, but Nate found himself punching 2 tags December 20th.Capitalizing on a great weather pattern and a micro food plot led to an awesome hunt. Thank you for listening to the episode!
