In addition to numerous coaching and assessment certifications,Lisa holds two graduate degrees from American University in Washington, DC – a Master of Public Administration and Policy (2020) and a Master of Public Communication (2000). She earned her undergraduate degree in Government and Broadcasting/Communication from Northwest Missouri State University. As a business owner and entrepreneur, Lisa has contributed hundreds of hours of professional pro-bono service to local and national organizations and causes.Additionally, since launching Purpose Journals by Purpose Journey® in 2020, she has donated thousands of her writing journals to non-profits (from domestic violence shelters, recovery centers, and hospitals to youth development, social advocacy, and leadership programs) under her initiative Journal for Change®, which in now a 501(c)(3) expanding its mission nationally.
