In the recent past we have been hearing about Pyramid Schemes and specifically one called MMM. We have seen news headlines saying the scheme had collapsed.Currently the MMM investment scheme is under investigation by the Hawks after it collapsed in Russia. The group has applied to the High Court in Pretoria for clarity on whether the donation based network is considered a Ponzi or pyramid scheme.
