Backseat Diaries Mohamed Brahimi To say that I have an extravagant taste in storytelling would be stating the obvious. I love listening to stories, and I equally love telling them. I tried demystifying my extreme infatuation with storytelling by looking into what Neuroscience may have to say about it. All I was able to dig out was a bunch of esoteric explanations about the release of hormones like vasopressin, oxytocin, dopamine, etc... A story teller is able to induce a myriad of feelings into his/her audience. A storyteller is able to pause your frontal cortex's cognitive functions.
