Q&A Part 2

from Fully Nourished® · host Jessica Ash

Welcome back to part two of our Q&A! In this episode, I reflect on the journey that led my podcast to its current focus: exploring the profound connections between nutrition, health, and religion. Over the years, I’ve noticed patterns in the women I serve—patterns that point to something deeper than just physiology. As part of this journey, I’ve been questioning cultural narratives around femininity and challenging some of the archetypes that dominate our society. From the hyper-sexualized “free spirit” to the submissive “Christian wife,” many of these roles are out of alignment with true feminine energy. Unfortunately, we’ve lost touch with the art of womanhood—an experience that goes far beyond domestic skills to encompass a deep connection with our bodies and our essence. We dive into a question concerning weight loss, particularly the societal and generational factors influencing women’s relationships with their bodies. Beyond physical factors like metabolic health and toxin storage, psychological patterns and belief systems can drive the body’s resistance to weight loss. Quick fixes, such as weight-loss drugs, often bypass the body’s natural safety mechanisms, which can have unintended long-term consequences. Instead, I advocate for holistic approaches that address both the physical and emotional aspects of health, including hypnotherapy to explore subconscious drivers. As we embrace the holiday season, I encourage you to enjoy the opportunity that Christmas presents to be present with your family, be generous, and practice gratitude. See you in the next one! In this episode:[00:46] Welcome to Episode 54 of The Fully Nourished Podcast![01:10] Why did I shift and expand my focus to encompass religion?[06:42] What are the differences between true femininity and the woke, modern feminist culture we see today?[13:10] Your growth will be based on your capacity, which will be influenced by your nourishment. [15:02] Where is our desire to lose weight coming from? [20:43] How can we trust Jesus’s recorded words from scripture? [23:54] How do we navigate Christmas when we are in a period of growth and transformation? [26:37] Thanks for joining me on The Fully Nourished Podcast today! Links and Resources:Submit Questions Here: https://airtable.com/appoicByQy3UFoSXs/shrXwD7wQFJQr68NnSign Up for Sunday Tea Here: https://jessica-ash-wellness.ck.page/04f86a550fGet more info on Philosophia Society Here: https://www.jessicaashwellness.com/philosophia-societyDiscount Codes from Our Sponsors:Subluna: https://shopsubluna.com?sca_ref=6575731.SiVwQ6X9YX *Code JESSICAASH for 10% offIG: @shopsubluna*This is an affiliate link. CBS Radio Mystery Theater goldenclassics CBS Radio Mystery Theater (a.k.a. Radio Mystery Theater and Mystery Theater, sometimes abbreviated as CBSRMT) was a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was carried by the NPR satellite feed. The format was similar to that of classic old time radio shows like The Mysterious Traveler and The Whistler, in that the episodes were introduced by a host (E. G. Marshall) who provided pithy wisdom and commentary throughout. Unlike the hosts of those earlier programs, Marshall is fully mortal, merely someone whose heightened insight and erudition plunge the listener into the world of the macabre (in a manner similar to that of The Man in Black on yet another old time radio program, Suspense). As with Himan Browns prior Inner Sanctum Mysteries, each episode of CBS Radio Mystery Theater opened and closed with the ominous sound of a creaking crypt door, accompanied by Marshalls disturbing utteran Play Fully! kidnexxions Do you feel ’stuck’ when it comes to having fun with others or PLAYING?
