Una campagna non semplice quella per diventare consigliera regionale visto che Fornili ha una bambina che all’epoca aveva 5 mesi, ma “stimolante, e ha tirato fuori tanta energia che non pensavo nemmeno di avere”. E ora, dopo 6 mesi, “mia figlia chiama molto il papà che però fa il papà non la mamma. Ma credo che sia importante dimostrare che anche le mamme hanno qualcosa da dire e da fare e possono impegnarsi nella vita politica e sociale.
