Episode 26 - I Think Too Much... Too Much!!
Release Date: 10/28/2023
Description: So my therapist and I recently discussed how I am thinking way too much about trying to find pieces to fit into a situation in order to come up with an answer to a problem that is never really answered. I analyze every detail and obsess about the details hoping to find something that will tell me "Yes this is a good idea!" or that will also say "No that is not a good idea.." It is extremely stressful and creates a lot of anxious feelings inside me! The therapist says that being a confidence person who is very secure with themselves does not mean they will be able to come up with a resolution that is solid and unbreakable! Amazingly enough they create just as much stress and anxiety as well! When you are living with the effects of trauma all the effort you put into coming up with answers or the fix is way more stressful and can often cause being re-triggered when you are incapable of facing those fears that are holding you hostage. Too Much!
Release Date: 03/19/2021
Authors: toomuchunapologeticwomen
Description: Welcome to TOO MUCH: A podcast for unapologetic women. We are Heather & Heather (aka Heather Rauh and Heather Rose Walters), two women who have been labeled 'too much' by too many for too long. We are here to embrace that label, and to celebrate anyone else who's been told they need to 'tone it down,' 'be nicer,' or play smaller, in order to make other people more comfortable. On this podcast, we discuss topics across the spectrum as they intersect with feminism (and we believe feminism must be intersectional!) Whoever you are, wherever you're from, if you've ever been made to feel like you're 'too much'? Good for you. We're excited you're here.
