Power trios are hard to pull off, especially with a jam band sensibility, but these guys have been doing it all over the Northeast. Pools Are Nice – Dear in the Headlights. This bit of surf punk comes from the Orange-based band's EP “Then You're Thinking Too Much.” Fatgrip – Coach Purse Drama Girl. Don't we all know someone like this? Fatgrip is from theHartford area, playing catchy rock songs. The Backyard Committee – Winter Trip. This track really grabbed me, and I thought I'd better include something that sounds more in character with my programming. ThisNew Haven band performs songs written by Mike Sembos.
