Episode 160 is in conversation with CEO of Scottish charity Hearts & Minds, Rebecca Simpson. ‘Improving lives one smile at time’, Rebecca is incredibly passionate about the work of their Clowndoctors and Elderflowers, predominately collaborating with paediatric wards, dementia units and ASN schools to bring joy and laughter to those who are at their most vulnerable. The art of therapeutic clowning has been at the core of the organisation over the last 21 years and joining the team early 2020, Rebecca was faced with navigating covid to ensure their much needed services continued, albeit virtually. With her boundless energy and enthusiasm, her wealth of experience working in the arts and the most infectious laugh, Rebecca embraces challenges, believing strongly in the work of Hearts & Minds.
