And yet this is the polar opposite of what Jesus taught! In this teaching we kick off a new series on the beatitudes and consider the radically countercultural way of Jesus. The "blessed" life is actually the one of self giving love - the poor in spirit who give up their own lives for the good of others. What if we learned to fight like that?
