Reflecting on 2024: Top Lessons, Big Growth, and Deepest Gratitude | Ep. 402

from Todd Durkin IMPACT Show

Are you ready to start flipping the script on 2024? As we begin to reflect and wrap-up this year, I'd like to take a moment and COACH you today. This episode is all about celebrating your wins from 2024, assessing your losses, acknowledging your lessons, and laying the groundwork for what will be an impactful year ahead. I'm sure you have had either a stellar, breakthrough year or you have faced massive challenge this year…or perhaps you've experienced a bit of both. That is exactly why I'm sharing my personal reflections, lessons, and best practices to help you finish 2024 strong also and help you set yourself up for great success in 2025. Additionally, I'll be sharing deep insights on my God-Sized Dreams System "Annual Strategic Plan" and COACH you through 11-questions to answer so that you can adequately reflect back on 2024, assess your own habits, wins, and losses, and ultimately get ready to step into 2025 with great energy and clarity. If you're ready to grow and make 2025 your most extraordinary year, this episode is the first step to do that! Key Takeaways: 1. Celebrate Your Wins: I believe it's so important to reflect on your victories, big or small, and celebrate them. In this episode, I share why it's crucial to acknowledge what you accomplished, whether personally or professionally. If you don't take time to show gratitude for the wins, the wins stop happening.  2. Appreciating Physical & Mental Health: I talk about my own health journey in 2024, especially how recovering from back issues in 2021 and 2022 has impacted my physical and mental well-being today. I'll share how fitness has been a major source of clarity and focus for me. 3. The Power of Content Creation: Creating content that resonates with others is at the heart of my mission. I'll discuss how producing podcasts, blog posts, emails, social media content and other content is a way to serve our community—and how discipline in content creation has been a core part of my success. 4. Managing Bad Habits: No one's perfect, and I certainly have my own bad habits! I reflect on areas I've struggled with in 2024, such as not reading as much as I wanted to and not taking enough time off. I'll talk about how important it is to learn from your habits, both good and bad, and make changes for the better. 5. Growth in Coaching & Leadership: In 2024, I became even more focused on life coaching, impacting others through IMPACT-X Performance, and helping leaders grow their businesses. I'll share some of the key lessons I've learned through coaching and how working with others has helped me grow, too. 6. Gratitude for the Journey: Gratitude is something I practice daily. In this episode, I talk about how grateful I am for the people and experiences that shaped my 2024—whether it was team, family, or you here, my podcast listeners. 7. Strategic Planning for 2025: Looking ahead, I share why it's so important to set bold, meaningful goals and create a clear vision for the future. If you want to make 2025 extraordinary, it starts with a plan, and I'll guide you through that process starting with this episode. 8. Actionable Advice for the New Year: I challenge you to make 2025 your "comeback season" whether you had a rough year or a successful one. I'm going to encourage you to evaluate your daily habits and make changes that will help you grow into the best version of yourself. Please Share Your Journey. I'd love to hear how you're applying the lessons from this episode to your own life. Snap a picture of this podcast episode, tag me on social media, and share your thoughts!
