REFRACTION - Christian Goodell - Twilight @ BoH, Burning Man 9-2-19

Burning Man 2019 at The Bureau of Hindsight. The sun had just set behind the mountains, but not yet past the curvature of the Earth, so the sky was about to explode with orange and red. If you listen in the mix a couple tracks in, you can hear the moment when the colors of sunset are brightest and most amazing and mind-blowing, and I drop the beat out all together. And then all of a sudden the colors vanish and that weird refraction light of twilight hits you. The stars are out, and it's neither day nor night, and all the waves of light start to bounce off the atmosphere. So I started bending the music along with it to capture that in the music, and this is that hour of weird, cool, almost confusing refraction of twilight.
