Many focus on MAKING disciples, we hope to help in the process of BEING a disciple of Jesus. Understanding the ten commandments can be a good place to reflect on, as they were one of Israel's first introductions to learning how to relate to God and live in His way. Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you! Union University
Union is a Christian university. We come together each week as a university community to worship and glorify God, to build community among the entire university, and to inform and teach concerning the areas of faith and learning. The chapel experience is the central and focal event of the university - a time when we give public expression to who we are as a community. Expectant celebration which incorporates praise and participation and creative forms of worship characterize each service. University Chapel takes place on Wednesday. These services are more traditional in nature and often involve the chapel choir and other leadership from Union's music department. Chapels on Friday mornings are more contemporary in style and are primarily student led.
