If you're someone who gets fired up about serving people and creating ways to change the world for the better, you're a visionary.

While you're out there giving your all to your projects and goals, you may also desire to have a deeply loving and connected relationship. But sometimes, it's extremely difficult to manage having both.

I'm here to share with you my favorite tips to make it easier and function better as a visionary exploring the world of relationships through transitioning better between the two spaces.

Tune in to this episode: Relationships for Visionaries.

Key points covered in this episode:

✔️ You don't have to handle this alone.  Visionaries tend to have moments of isolation when they're innovating and immersing themselves in their creative process. You can work together as a team on how each of you can stay true to your individual identities while maintaining your intimate bond.

✔️ Create your own transitioning process. With some trial-and-error, you can get clear on which transition activities work best to open your energy and prepare you to reconnect with your loved ones — be it a guided meditation, taking a nap, or dancing to your favorite song.

✔️ Communicate with honesty and love. If the visionary partner is stuck in frustration, invite them into a conversation about how to support each other in improving the transition out of creative space and into relational space.

✔️ Maintain a high level of creativity and inspiration. Rest and love are fuel for visionaries. But when they're occupied in their craft, they forget to fully unplug. Make sure to tend to your relationship to fill up and avoid creative burnout and conflict.

✔️ Be deliberate about your transitions. Visionaries may be unaware that they need to transition. Together, find ways to implement the process effectively and prioritize it. Something as simple as taking a walk can prevent petty quarrels and saying the wrong things out of irritation.

✔️ Transitions create receptiveness and availability. Your body may be in the same room as your loved ones, but is your mind there? Handling transitions better teaches us to be responsible and present partners. It gives us the maturity to say, "I'll get back to you in 10 minutes when I'm in a better headspace."
