Renewed calls for use of vacant homes in Sligo

More needs to be done to address the homelessness crisis across the North West and nationally. That's according to a Sligo Cllr in relation to the latest homeless report which showed 156 people were homeless in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal in November 2024. While on a national level, there was a record amount of just over 15,000. People Before Profit Cllr Gino O'Boyle says there are vacant homes that need to be availed of:
