Jerry never lost a game as the Roughneck starting qb and helped White Oak win the 1957 state championship! Jerry talks about his best friend Roy Bruce and many other topics that have never been heard! Jerry Davis Won 25 consecutive games. All-East Texas 1958 and twice all-district in addition to his THSCA all-star selection. He was a 3 year starter in baseball, two years of basketball, and ran a leg on the 1958 state championship 440-yard relay team. Jerry participated in 12 district championship teams. Because of White Oak’s dismissal from the state playoffs in 1958, Davis lost a chance at all-state honors.
