Restoration

Additionally, Matthew 5:23-24 emphasizes the importance of reconciliation: “So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift” (ESV). In 2 Corinthians 5:18, we learn that God has given us the ministry of reconciliation: “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (ESV).
