Welcome to The Fragrance of Christ Podcast! Our topic today is the Resurrection Story ~ Luke 24:1-6aBut very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. So they went in, but they didn't find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, "Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn't here! He is risen from the dead!"Yes, friends, Jesus is alive! Today's show is the story of how God's Son, Jesus, carried out the perfect salvation plan to rescue mankind from eternal damnation - the consequence of sin. He gave up His own life as a sacrifice for our sin so that we can live eternally free and restored to our Father in Heaven.That's the JOY part! When Jesus conquered death and broke free of Hell and that tomb, He achieved the impossible - He arose whole in body and spirit. Not a ghost or spirit, but totally as if He was born again....
