What was the final poll results from our debate - docking vs tailing? Announced in the second half of this episode of Rural Exchange, the team Hamish McKay, Richard Loe & Sarah Perriam - 59% were for ‘docking’, 41% were for ‘tailing’ to be our national standard term! We think it's important to have a barrel of laughs to lighten the air on a Sunday two weeks out from an election, so the sledging among the hosts continues! But at the same time our political coverage goes to the regions focusing on Hawkes Bay with former regional council chair, Fenton Wilson, post the appeal decision of the Ruataniwha Dam as well as Central Otago Mayor, Tim Cadogan on why it’s important to be pragmatic. The team also cover Avocados, a holiday in Spain, bust some myths with Dr. Jacqueline Rowarth & hear from Federated Farmers on how they came up with $83 million - the number attached to the overall effect of all the taxes proposed. Rural Exchange (REX) with for all the various ways to listen, watch, LIVE from 5am Saturdays & Sunday's on RadioLIVE and/or On Demand see us at www.radiolive.co.nz/rex
